I wanted to mention that Hannaford no longer does custom requests in their meat departments. In the past, I’ve touted Hannaford as my favorite Watertown-area “meat market” because, before now, they always went out of their way to offer their customers personalized, high-quality service in their meat department. I used to get large orders of fresh-ground beef there every few weeks. It was a corporate decision to no longer accommodate custom orders, which is very disappointing. (If you agree, consider taking the time to post a comment on Hannaford’s Facebook page or send them an email! They’re a smaller company and I’m sure they would appreciate the feedback if it makes a difference in your shopping habits, as it does mine.)
